Visit Luoyang Old Town District, Luoyang that is a little west of Zhengzhou City was the capital of the Eastern Han Empire (25 AD- 220 AD). After that, it remained an important city in various empires. The Luoyang Old Town District measures a few square miles as the main center, but it probably extends out over twenty square miles. It is the best place to find remaining ancient architecture. An example is a very big city gate that is said to date from 600 AD though it looks much younger. It is a big arched gate that was part of a city wall. The area also features a museum for folk art that contains local art such as paper cuttings art, local clothing, and other local artwork. Some of the streets are shopping streets that sell a certain kind of good or article. Others are residential streets with small shops and old apartments lining both sides. The streets are still generally old and narrow. One special feature of the area is a Muslim community. Many of Luoyang's Muslims live here. Not only can travelers appreciate the vivid Buddha statues and solemn architecture, but they can also listen to the historical stories and feel the spiritual world of Buddhism in the White Horse Temple. There are two new temples which have been built in recent years, which are the Indian Temple and the Thailand Temple. The materials of the temples were brought from the two countries. The Indian Temple has been completed while the Thailand Temple is under construction. The styles of these two temples are exotic, each with strong features of India and Thailand. One of the more famous ones is Luodai, an old Hakka outpost built up over the several hundred years of Hakka migrations from the east coast to Sichuan. Most of the old towns have become tourist traps that eerily resemble each other and every other "old town" in China. That's unfortunate, but there is something worthwhile to extract from Luodai: its rich Hakka heritage. Later transfer to visit Bifeng Valley is a new home to Giant pandas after the earthquake in 2008. The center is one of the best places to see panda with refreshing air and luxuriant bamboo. Now there are about 40 pandas in the center. A Panda Volunteer Program is provided. Some of the tasks that volunteers may do include feeding the pandas or helping the panda take a cool bath (extra fee requires). The Valley is also a tourist attraction with integration of leisure, holiday- making, and recreation. A physical examination is required if you apply the Panda Volunteer Program. You can hike in the valley to enjoy the fresh air if time is possible. Bifengxia Safari Park is a must see attraction, as it is the first one based on the zoology of China. In total, there are about 263 acres in the public visiting section, including wild lion, bear and tiger areas as well as the small animal sections. In this Safari Park, there are as many as 400 species of wildlife, among which, more than 30 species are under the first-grade State protection, about 50 species are under second-grade State protection and 4 species belong to the rare animal category. After visiting the Zoo including the Giant Panda base, return to Ya'an for the night. The entrance fee to Bifengxia is CNY80. Breakfast at hotel, visit the Dalian Forest Zoo, Built in 1997 covering an area of 7.2 square kilometers, Dalian forest Zoo is an amazingly extensive animal kingdom. It is well-known for its high quality selection of species and wild raising. It takes special consideration to maintain the balance between its theme of naturalness and wildness and the human and cultural factors. There are six functional sections in the park: garden-like herbivorous animal section; tower-like lions and tigers section; crane-like chimpanzees and baboons section; the mountain-like bears section; the special Asian elephants section; and the natural protection section where pandas, smart squirrel monkeys, and fire-like flamingos reside. It has a total of more than 1000 animals of 130 species. The main theme of the forest zoo 'Green and Life', promotes communication and even friendship between animals and human. On top of the West Hill with sea level of 259.6 meters, you can oversee the entire forest and zoo area. The one kilometer long cable car route enables tours and sightseeing from the east of the zoo to the west. And visit Dalian Shengya Ocean World, located 608 Zhongshan Road, Shahekou District, inside Xinhai Park, has the longest transparent underground sea channel in Asia. A moving passageway guides tourists through the tunnel to get a close up look at exotic fishes, sharks and other sea life. The main display area has more than 300 species of fish totaling more than 10,000. There are coral reefs and floating sea grasses. Visitors can also see ferocious sharks, big-headed flying fish, colorful tropical fish, and many other rare species from around the world. Breakfast at hotel, go to Bangchui Island watch the island from Tiger Beach site. Binhai Road thus emerges as the jewel in the crown of Dalian, over the years it has developed into an avant-garde tourist destination. Bangchui Island, located in Dalian of Liaoning Province, is surrounded by a perfect atmosphere of ocean, beach, trees and mountains. From here, visitors can also enjoy the beautiful view of San Sahn Island, a famous place for catching crabs, sea slugs and conch. Later visit the Tiger Beach Scenic Area. Tiger Beach is one of the best beaches in Dalian and excellent for swimming. Its name is derived from rock outcroppings in the sea that resemble a sleeping tiger. Evening visit Binhai Road. The major funders for this bridge is historical and cultural city Shaoxing. Shaojia bridge started building in the end of 2008,and it lasted 4 years time. At 00:00 on July 19th it officially opened. Shaojia bridge totally longs 69.5km and the total cost is 13.9 billion yuan. It is the largest Infrastructure projects in Shaoxing and also the world-class bridge. After the bridge opened, shaoxing to shanghai's drive shortened to 1.5 hours. Go to Shaoxing by Jiashao Bridge which is the longest and widest multi-pylon cable stayed bridge in the world. Visit Shenyuan Garden which is a private garden built in the Southern Song Dynasty and now it is a historical monument under provincial protection. Inside the garden, there is a pool in the shape of a gourd, stone bridges, and artificial hills by the pond and wells. Go to Xianheng Hotel which is in memory of Luxun and is the most prestigious century-old shop in Shaoxing. It is a financial city, celebrities, wine in one of the Jiangnan style hotel. Visit Lunxun Native Place where Luxun grew up and it is the historical district which is preserved best. Inside Luxun Native Place, there are Lu Xun's ancestral home(old door), Lu Xun's former residence(new door), Baicaoyuan Garden, Sanweishuwu and Shoujia Tai-door.
